I've been a Witch since 1991. Most Witches have a specific magical gift -- mine is love and sex magic. Besides blessing my own life with a wonderful husband, my spells have helped both friends and readers attract love, solve relationship problems, or just add a little zip to their love lives.

Under my pseudonym Selene Silverwind, I've written two visionary Wiccan romances: Once Upon a Beltane Eve (2001, Spilled Candy) and Field of Jonquils. I've also written two non-fiction books. Magic for Lovers (2004, Crossing Press/Ten Speed) is a collection of spells for couples looking to improve their relationships. The Everything Paganism Book (2004, Adams Media) is an overview of many Pagan religions and practices. I've also contributed to /Cakes and Ale for the Pagan Soul /(2005, Crossing Press/Ten Speed) and Herbal Tea for the Pagan Spirit (2002, Three Moons) and several Pagan e-zines and magazines.

As Selene Silverwind, I’ve appeared twice on my local UPN news to cast love spells. (Once in a silk nightie.) I’ve also been interviewed on radio and television programs. On Halloween of 2005, I joined the hosts of the QTV show “Brunch” for a chat about my books and Wicca. I've also given numerous workshops and presentations on love magic at bookstores and Pagan conventions, including an appearance at the Salem Witch Village in Salem, Massachusetts.

I live the life of the newlywed Witch in Los Angeles with my husband, his uncooperative cat, and my adorable cat.

I'm the President of the Chick Lit Writers of the World chapter of Romance Writers of America and am a member of RWA’s Orange County Chapter.
